REF MK1 – Marketing Executive - start date December 2009:
Location: Leinster
Basic Pay: €20K to €28K (Depending on Experience and relevant qualifications) + bonus structure with reasonable targets.
Due to further growth, Xtreme.ie is now looking for a professional, hardworking and outgoing Marketing Executive to join our team.
The role is challenging, varied, exciting and has excellent earning and growth opportunities for the right candidate. The role is mostly office based but some travel may be required. You will report to the Company Directors regularly. Training, coaching, assistance and resources will be given to ensure the successful candidate will excel in this role.
Role & Responsibilities
• Create market awareness and demand for the Xtreme.ie range of services
• Successfully formulate, manage and implement the company marketing plan, strategy and marketing function
• Continuous development of the web presence of Xtreme.ie using various social networking and blogging web sites, as well as electronic mail shots and other technology based media available
• Building and maintaining useful contacts with the media
• Writing and distributing press releases
• Managing the design, copy (writing and proofreading copy and liaising with designers, web developers and printers) and distribution of communication material and media
• Organising and attending promotional events and exhibitions
• Maintaining and updating databases
• Analysing and researching the market, including competitors, customer surveys, awareness, brand positioning, and pricing strategy
• Securing sponsorship to assist with the publicity and funding of marketing projects
Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
• Degree Qualified Marketing professional
• CIM Diploma or relevant Masters Degree would be a distinct advantage
• Experience of working with, implementing and reporting on marketing strategy
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to think outside the box and be creative
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Excellent verbal & written communication and interaction skills
• Hard worker, results driven and can work on own initiative to exceed expectations
• Organised & Methodical
• Excellent PC skills – Good working knowledge of MS Office is essential

Role & Responsibilities
• Office based – Selling our range of high quality services and activities to high end clients
• Preparing quality proposals to new and existing clients
• Working on your own initiative you will manage our sales process professionally, dealing with inbound enquiries and other sales functions
• You will report to the Sales & Marketing Director
