4×4 Health and Safety Training

Xtreme.ie have LANTRA certified sites in Southern Ireland. All Xtreme.ie instructors are certified to complete LANTRA training courses.

If your company uses 4×4 or off-road vehicles in the workplace all users of such vehicles MUST be trained how to use them safely. The demand for employees to be trained & certificated, complying with Health & Safety regulations, requires specialist off-road instruction.

Xtreme.ie specialise in such professional training qualifications for anyone using four wheel drive vehicles in the workplace.

Training is necessary for users in a wide range of industries and work environments, including:

  • Agriculture
  • Construction sites
  • Forestry
  • Golf clubs
  • Industrial sites
  • Leisure complexes
  • Local authorities
  • Outdoor shows and events
  • Stables

Used correctly, off-road vehicles, or 4 x 4s, are very versatile vehicles with a wide variety of uses. Their use with trailers make them even more flexible and effective tools for both business and recreation.

Unfortunately, even the most experienced off-road drivers can find themselves in hazardous and potentially dangerous situations. Serious accidents can and do occur without proper training.

Xtreme.ie has fully qualified LANTRA instructors to train and assess your staff on a professional level. We offer two Professional 4×4 Driving Courses (as well as trailer handling and winch courses):

Course 1: Xtreme.ie Introduction to driving a 4×4 off-road – for details CLICK HERE

With both of the above courses, you will be expected to complete theoretical and practical tests whilst being assessed. Please bring with you a notebook and pen. We also require you to bring your driving licence, relevant outdoor clothing & footwear and your 4×4 vehicle normally used for work, together with it’s handbook or manual showing it’s 4wd operating system.
