Vodafone is Ireland’s leading mobile phone operator with a customer base of over 1.8 million and
a total of 1,500 employees. The company was established in 1984, and operated Ireland’s first mobile phone service as part of the former state telco – Telecom Eireann. Operating under the separate brand – Eircell – it enjoyed huge expansion in the late ’90′s as mobile telephony was embraced in Ireland. In May 2001, Eircell was acquired by Vodafone in the largest deal ever in Irish corporate history. The company is now part of the world’s largest mobile community. Vodafone asked Ireland Xtreme to put together a team event with a difference.
Here is what Pat Moynihan, Head of Products and Services Development said about their event with Ireland Xtreme:
“For any staff event I would definitely recommend Ireland Xtreme. We had such a fantastic day and they tailored it to our requirements and budget. The Xtreme staff were friendly and energetic and the vehicles are just amazing. We couldn’t believe that they let us drive all those new orange Land Rovers.
The other activities on the day were second to none and really got the guys going. The whole team are still talking about the day. The mix of professionalism, safety and fun is perfect.”
