The Brief
The all new Ford Ranger is a rugged, stylish and yet comfortable vehicle that is as tough on the inside as it is on the outside. It has a best in class towing capacity of three tonnes. For the launch of the all new Ranger, Ford wanted to show off the full capabilities of the vehicle to one of its toughest audiences: its network of nationwide Ford Dealers and sales staff. Ireland Xtreme was chosen as the best equipped team to handle this important launch.
Our Solution
Drawing on their vast experience in off road testing, the Ireland Xtreme team developed a tailor-made test course in three different tiers that really put the Ranger through its paces, showing the full capabilities of this great workhorse. The team developed a driving programme that ensured that each participant received ample opportunity to drive the Ranger over each stage of the challenging test course.
Results
For the Ford sales staff, the launch event provided hands on driving experience of every conceivable driving challenge that would be thrown at the Ranger by Irish drivers. The vehicle rose to every challenge and in the process, the sales staff observed first hand the Ranger’s great ability – all the better to aid them in selling the vehicle to prospective Ranger drivers, the kind of drivers who demand a huge amount from their vehicles.
